Microsoft ได้ประกาศลดราคาเครื่อง Xbox360 Elite ลงเหลือแค่ 299$ จาก 399$ [เหลือประมาณ 13,000 บาท] เมื่อวันที่ 28 สิงหาคม 2552 ล่าสุดก็มีข่าวมาว่า โซน Asia ก็จะปรับลดราคาแล้วเช่นกัน 

Julie Leong จากไมโครซอฟท์ ฮ่องกงเปิดเผยว่า บริษัทมีแผนที่จะจัดงานแถลงข่าวที่ญี่ปุ่นในวันพุธหน้า เพื่อยืนยันอย่างเป็นทางการว่าคนในภูมิภาคเอเชียจะได้ซื้อหาเครื่องเกม Xbox360 ด้วยราคาที่ต่ำลง ในวันที่ 10 ก.ย.นี้ โดยราคาเครื่อง Xbox 360 Elite (อิลิต) สีดำ ความจุ 120 GB จะมีราคาลดลงประมาณ 28 % อยู่ที่ US$305 ในฮ่องกง,สิงคโปร์,เกาหลีใต้ และไต้หวัน เครื่องรุ่นดังกล่าวจะไม่มีสาย HDMI แถมมาด้วย

Julie Leong from Microsoft Hongkong said that the corperation will announced at Japan next wednesday . Asian can buy Xbox360 with lower price on 10 September . Xbox360 Elite (Black Colour) 120GB will be at 305$US in Hongkong , Singapore , South Korea and Taiwan . The package don't have HDMI cable .
