อินเทลส่งโปรเซสเซอร์ 32 nm สถาปัตยกรรม Westmere ตัวใหม่ล่าสุด "Gulfdown" ให้ Silicon เเจกจ่ายให้ผู้ที่สนใจลองไปทดลองความเเรง โดย Gulfdown หรือ Core i9 มีจุดขายที่ 6 หัวในหนึ่งเดียว (อัด HyperThreading เป็น 12 หัวได้อีก), L3 cache 12MB รองรับ QPI เพื่อการโหลดข้อมูลปริมาณมากๆ ในเวลาเดียวกัน

ส่วนการทดสอบ Core i9 ในภาพ ผู้ทดลองได้รัน 2 CPU ใน 2 Socket ที่ 2.4 GHz. อัดเเรม DDR3 24GB (4Gx2x3) หากท่านใดอยากได้มาครอบครอง ตามกําหนดเเล้ว ต้องวางปีหน้าเเน่นอนครับ (อีกหลายเดือนเหมือนกัน)
